ABOVE PICTURE TAKEN AFTER PASSING INSPECTION.
RAW SEWAGE/FECAL MATTER IN A HALL CLOSET NEXT TO CHILD'S BED (SUMP PUMP UNFINISHED). 1 YEAR WARRANTY. CONTACTED PLUMBERS, THEY REQUESTED MONEY FROM ME STATING CONTRACTOR GAVE THEM SPECIFIC ORDERS AND PAID THEM ONLY SO MUCH THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY TO HAVE IT DONE RIGHT!, I WAS TOLD THE SAME ON YARD, CARPET, ETC. I WAS SHOCKED! WHY WOULD SOMEONE DO THIS TO ME AND MY BOYS? NO APPOLOGIES, ONLY CONSTANT LIES STATING NOTHING WRONG WITH HOME.
I was quoted $7,000 to repair the above sewage issue.

I pleaded with the Bartow County Inspection Department to please come out and look at my brand new home. I cried as I pleaded stating "I placed down everything, our life savings down on this home. Please come and look at this house!!" I was continously told that builder, Mike McMillan, claims he has fixed things and he says you keep making up more and more things for him to fix..etc.. I don't know what kind of little things you are complaing about... a leak (this left on answering machine tape.). I called back crying stating contractor never came back and why didn't he believe me? (He commented that he reports to Contractor's wife) I asked him to come to the house and look for himself, why would I lie? I asked why would I continue to bring pictures to the courthouse if my home was fixed? Upon filing my 1st complaint for investigation, it disappeared! WHY? SOMETHING SO LARGE WITH SO MANY PICTURES AT THE COURTHOUSE? Also, in the recorded message he states "my hands are tied." Did not explain. CBS NEWS ASKED WHY IT WASN'T INVESTIGATED? The comment was "What good would it have done?"
1. It is the Dept. job to investigate complaints. 2. It would have saved a families health, home, medical bills, life investment. As a result, A family is forced into bankruptcy and foreclosure because Bartow County Courthouse refused to investigate.
If you view all pictures on all pages, you can see all the major shortucts taken on this new home. Why was there no investigation? I have gone to the Georgia State Capitol. There will be an investigation into why this disppeared and never was investigated!

MOLD CLIMBING WALLS AS WELL AS UNDER FLOOR OF CARPET.
The tact strips are already crumbled/destroyed with mold. Wall bleached, treated, etc. It can only be cut out. Source must be stopped or it will always continue. This mold climbed to about 3 feet tall.

SEVERE ALLERGY PROBLEMS, CHRONIC PAIN ALL OVER BODY, BOILS, BLACK COATED TONGUE, PASSING OUT AND NAUSEA, VOMITING, SEVERE HEADACHES, ALLERGIES, INTERNAL ORGAN PAIN, FATIGUE, MUSCLE SPASMS, WEAK IMMUNE SYSTEM, ETC. WE ALL EXPERIENCED SICKNESS.
WE TEACH OUR CHILDREN TO TRUST AND BELIEVE IN OUR JUSTICE SYSTEM. MOLD IN CARPET
- This is in child's bedroom closet. Water coming in and/or sewage from under foundation. After 6 months, we started feeling ill in home, headaches, nausea, nose bleeds, allergy sinus problems, boils and sores on body, chronically tired, depression, internal organ pain, Constantly ill, weak immune system, chest pain, passing out, etc. I had to purchase oxygen machines (2) in order to have enough oxygen in the home. we have had so many expenses that we can never recover. We pray someone will help us change the current system. Many things wrong happened with this home. The mold issue was always played down. We new it was serious because we were constantly sick and passing out in the home.

I would like to state. I am not placing this website to retaliate or hurt others. I am a single mom with fibromyalgia. This was our entire life savings and all our furniture. We have been seriously ill from the mold and toxic fumes in our new home. We purchased a brand new home. We did not receive anything close to the model homes we were shown. With Contractor filing bankruptcy against our home, he has left us homeless, without furniture, life savings stolen, ongoing medical bills and our credit destroyed and in bankruptcy ourselves. This should not have happened. When paying asking price for a home, you should receive exactly what you pay for. This home if not bulldozed, will always have serious issues and require yearly mold inspections, etc. So many serious issues that were allowed and not investigated leaving a family homeless. We left with nothing but a bag of clothes and sleeping on bare floors. This is wrong. I pray an investigation will happen in this case. My family has lost everything and our health and lives are changed forever.

My Family:I am a single mom with 2 children who relocated back to my home town CARTERSVILLE/ADAIRSVILLE, GA. I had lived in Kentucky for 12 years.
I was encouraged to buy NEW, "NO SURPRIZES", 1 year warranty, etc. I was shown beautiful model homes with lovely craftsmanship, screwed in wood, lovely yards, etc. We received what you see in our pictures. Most of these were taken early on. I was forced to make many repairs out of pocket to make home liveable.
Immediately, upon moving in, nothing had been tested. No hot water, faucets placed on but only cold water came out. All had to be taken off and placed on correctly. Defects hidden behind obstacles. Chimney began to separate from the ceiling with the first 6 months. Carpet was unseemed in many areas, padding missing in many areas with trash left under carpet.
Forced to continue payments by the bank and rent another home. We became in serious debt quickly with this draged out by Contractor for 3 years. So many bills, inspectors, medical, out of pocket repairs, reports, the list goes on.
Anyone that stayed at my home, especially children would miss school after staying over the weekend and sometimes began to vomit during visit. I knew something had to be seriously wrong with this home but no one would believe me or help me. I was made out to be a troublemaker because I complained about my home.
THE WORST OF OUR TRAGEDY IS SICKNESS CAUSED BY MOLD. WE DID NOTHING BUT PURCHASE A NEW HOME!

INSURANCE REFUSED TO PAY FOR ANY REPAIRS OR LOSES, (FURNITURE, MEDICAL BILLS, RENTAL OF ANOTHER HOME, REPORTS, ATTORNEY, ETS.) , THERE INSPECTION SHOWED THE CAUSE OF THE DAMAGE . WE WERE DEVASTATED. WHY DO YOU PAY INSURANCE??
MY OLDEST SON was thought to have LYMPHOMA (CANCER), WE EVACUATED WHEN THIS HAPPENED. IT WAS MOLD.
